White Dragon Fruit in Crimson Symphony

INGREDIENTS

White dragon fruit – 1 large piece
Watermelon, cubed – 1 cup
Fresh blackberries – 1/2 cup
Fresh raspberries – 1/2 cup
Fresh mint leaves (optional)– To taste
Honey or agave syrup (optional) – 1 teaspoon

Instructions

1. Prepare the dragon fruit base:
– Cut the white dragon fruit in half lengthwise.
– Using a spoon, scoop out some of the flesh, leaving a natural “bowl” in the shell.
– Set aside the extra flesh to mix with the other fruits if desired.

2. Prepare the fruit:
– Cut the watermelon into slices and, using a star-shaped cutter, cut out small star-shaped pieces.
– Gently wash the blackberries and raspberries to prevent them from falling apart.

3. Assemble the salad:
– Gently mix the reserved dragon fruit flesh, watermelon, blackberries, and raspberries in a bowl.
– Fill the dragon fruit halves with this fruit mixture.

4. Decoration and final touch:
– Add fresh mint leaves on top.
– Optional: Drizzle with honey or agave syrup for a light sweetness.

5. Serve:
– Serve immediately to preserve freshness and vibrant colors.

Chef’s Tips

– Present the dragon fruit halves on a white plate or clear tray to highlight the colors of the fruit.
– For a crunchy finish, sprinkle a little vegan granola or chia seeds on top.
